Understanding P.T., UFOs and Psi Phenomena

Psychotronics, unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and paranormal phenomena such as psychokinesis, telepathy, and precognition all have one thing in common: both mind and matter-energy are involved.

Hitherto, mainstream science has insisted on a rather arbitrary separation of mind and matter-energy. However, as we shall see, this separation is not based on good observation. For example, everyone exhibits in himself the ability of mind to affect matter. While theories of computers, control systems, and physics can explain human behavior once the physical system has been given an input signal, the original signal - intent, or what I call inception - is an unexplained mystery to ordinary science.

"Psychotronics" (a Czechoslovakian term) and "psychoenergetics" (a Soviet term) have been specifically designed to provide a framework for approaching the problems of mind, matter, and their interaction. If we can understand psychotronics, we will be able to understand better the interaction of mind and matter, including all paranormal phenomena, unidentified flying objects, and Fortean phenomena.

Let us therefore start by defining psychotronics. The prefix "psycho" refers to the mind. The suffix "tronics" refers to physics and physical devices. Thus the concept of psychotronics refers to a union of physics and metaphysics. Such an audacious concept can offer a solution to almost every present problem in meta physics, the foundations of logic, the foundations of physics, and the foundations of mathematics.

To begin with, it seems necessary to form a unified theory of mind, matter, and their interaction. It also seems necessary to reinterpret and extend electromagnetic theory. Logic itself must be advanced, for a part of reality, although "illogical" according to our present logic, is nonetheless true. In metaphysics we must solve formidable problems: the ontological problem (nature of being); the problem of mind, and the interaction of mind and body; the problem of change; and the problem of nothing.

It has been said that fools rush in where angels fear to tread. To tackle the problems of psychotronics demands the audacity to rush in where even fools fear to tread!

At this time, it may be appropriate to point out that all Western science, mathematics, and logic are founded upon three simple laws of logic, proposed and formulated by Aristotle. Since the entire universe cannot be described by these three laws - parts of reality are known to violate one or more of them and hence be illogical though true - it appears that we must be audacious enough to tackle and change the three laws of logic, if a new paradigm is to be constructed to solve all the presently unsolved problems.

First, no one knows what mass really is; we do not know for sure whether inertial and gravitational mass are one and the same. General relativity says it is, and we know from experiments that if any difference exists between inertial mass and gravitational mass that difference is very small indeed. But we do not know positively that there is not some small but finite difference. And we have no idea why the mass of a moving object increases with respect to a static observer. It is simple to calculate in special relativity how much the mass increases as a function of the velocity, but no one has the foggiest notion why this happens. Particularly so since an observer standing on the moving object and moving along with it sees no increase in its mass at all.

This poses a real paradox; if we try to assign some absolute notion to the idea of mass, then any object has an infinite number of masses, all at the same time and all different. There are two ways to determine mass: (1) by its resistance to a disturbing force, and (2) by its ability to occupy three-dimensional space. The latter requires that mass be volumetric, i.e., that mass be L3 dimensionally.

But look at the weird properties of a photon! If we measure its resistance to a disturbing force, we find that no force on earth can accelerate or decelerate the photon. If we measure the mass of a photon by the first method, it appears to have infinite mass. Yet if we measure it by the second method, it can have no mass at all, because a photon is not volumetric; it is two-dimensional. It therefore has infinite mass and zero mass simultaneously.

Furthermore, we can take the viewpoint that whatever its mass is, it can only have one. If that is so, then infinite mass and zero mass must somehow be the same thing! Which contradicts the three laws of logic. However, this should not concern us too greatly; many things contradict the laws of logic and are nonetheless true. So while it is presently "illogical" for infinite mass and zero mass to be identical, we should hold on to the idea that this may very well be true.

Additionally, one of the great cornerstone assumptions in physics is that gravitational field and electric field are mutually exclusive - i.e., they are totally different things. Yet a physicist named Santilli has proved that this is not so, and that they are either partially the same thing or totally the same thing. And there the matter stands, so we do not fully understand what electric field and gravitational field are, or how to go about turning one into the other, although Santilli's work seems to imply that this is at least theoretically possible. We must therefore invoke a new concept of reality.....

Flying Trees

The mountain road between the two nearby small towns winds as it rises through forested hills and mountainsides and descends into valleys cleared for farming before rising again. Half of the forty kilometre back road is dirt, gravel meeting blue metal at the halfway point between villages, where council responsibilities end.

Both villages once had hospitals, but only one hospital accepted black people for generations. The black women in the other village had to walk the then primitive dirt track if they wanted to have their babies in a hospital. But due to arcane regulations they had to wait until they were about to give birth; many babies were born and lost along the walking track (For this reason, Goorah [see previous post] was born on the ground, in a lane leading to the Aboriginal mission in the town which did not accept black people in its hospital).

Today there is only one hospital between the two towns and the road hosts a semi-regular memorial walk through the mountains, where huge tree ferns, eucalypts, rainforest giants and palms line the route and koalas, wallabies, gliding possums and myriad birds, reptiles and mammals still watch as they pass.

Eye often travel this road and always stop at a particular point where it crosses a ridge separating the watersheds of the two river systems winding through a huge and ancient volcanic crater, giving life to the land and the towns. There happens to be a sign at this point, marking a local nature reserve. A month ago the sign was altered by some local wag to read ‘Coonville Nature Reserve’. Six months ago someone used the bench behind the sign for firewood - in a forest full of fallen wood. At first sight it would seem not a lot had changed in generations. But the trees are smaller and weaker and the game far less plentiful. And there’s another difference.

At the place where eye customarily stop and say hello to the two valleys there are a number of koala-scratched trees which normally surround a large ironbark tree on the edge of the road, thirty metres high and a metre through at the base. Ironbark is the heaviest, hardest wood around and has a deep taproot that holds the very hills together, pinning the clay and soil to the rocks beneath on steep slopes. Normally, eye stop right by this ironbark and water it in the age-old manner.

Last week, last year, there was a huge storm, willy willys (small, localised tornadoes) spinning through the land. Last week eye stopped, as usual, and parked by the ironbark tree. But it wasn’t there. It was gone. Not cut down, not taken away. Gone, as if it had never been there. No stump, no hole, no unusual disturbance of the bark, leaves and sticks that littered the slope. Not a sign it had ever been there.

Naturally, eye looked around, but there was no sign of the big old ironbark tree. So eye looked up – and there, in the top of the regrowth canopy, about thirty metres up, was a tree, balanced sideways over my head. Not the ironbark, but another tree entirely, a blackbutt apparently snapped off half way and thrown into the tops of the trees.

Times are changing.

Last Roundup

Near this paradise valley is a little town of around a thousand people. Like many rural towns in the Great Southland, most of the original, indigenous people live on a ‘Mission’ – on a mission to come back from the concentration camps their grandparents were consigned to, and reclaim their rights to live free.

The Aboriginal Mission is usually placed behind a church on a dry spot. Often (as in the little town of descendants of British squatters and pub-keepers who don’t admit that their village’s name was originally an Aboriginal word) the Mission is placed on the town garbage dump, right next to the cemetery. In this particular town, the tribal people were forcibly encouraged to give up their free nomadic lives and live in a small fenced area they were not allowed to leave. The Mission behind the Cathaholic Church was right next to the town rifle range as well.

In the cemetery all the people, black, white, yellow and brindle, find their final homes. All are separated into sections based on their cultish denominations, of course – mainly Roaming Cathaholics, Anglecans or Prostyterians – except for the blacks. No matter which religion (regional lie) they succumbed to in life, they are all buried together in the black section – the best looked-after section of the cemetery.

There’s no Islime or Joodooist sect/ion in most country towns in Oz, of course. They’re not encouraged by the Munchkins.

Wild Life

When Goorah was born he was wildlife; Aboriginal people had their births recorded not as human beings, but under the Wildlife act, until the late 1960s. When Goorah was a lad he and his twelve brothers and sisters were forcibly taken from their parents, Brigit and Sylvester, and dragged off to pervert-ridden church-run ‘children’s homes’ where they were trained to be slaves and die before their time.

If they escaped to the bush they were considered ‘fair game’; game for the white man (fair is fair, after all), to be shot on sight and no-one the wiser – right up until the 1970s – and until today in some places. Until the ‘70s toilets were segregated and the blacks had to sit on the floor at the front of the cinema to be pelted with half-eaten food by those on the seats behind them – if they were allowed in at all. Of course, they couldn’t use the main entrance.

And they weren’t allowed to eat vanilla ice cream. Only chocolate.

Goorah was ‘given shock therapy’ as a child. He’s found it hard to relate to the city when he was dragged there so they electrified his brain.

Like many brothers and sisters he managed to return home years later, when the laws had changed but the hearts and habits of most landholders had remained the same. To this day the Aboriginal people are made to feel unwelcome in their own land, still driven away at gunpoint if they try to fish or walk in the bush.

In some redneck rural schools they actually teach the kids that the white man discovered the Great Southland, after which the Aborigines arrived from some other island – and of course the children believe it.

To this day most Aboriginal people are kept away from the earth Mother and her sacred places. The children she longs for, those who understand her language and ways best of all, are withheld from her. The great healing has yet to commence and will not take place until indigenous people are reunited with their mother, the land.

Now the rainbow tribes are returning and it's time for the last roundup.

Key Atlantic Current Slowing

Long-forecast result of warming may portend chill for Northern Europe

The Atlantic Conveyor, a life-giving ocean current that keeps Northern Europe warm, is slowing down, scientists said Wednesday.

If the 30 percent slowdown seen over the past 12 years is not just a blip, temperatures in Northern Europe could drop significantly, despite global warming, they added.

Scientists have long forecast that the Atlantic Conveyor that carries warm surface water north and cold deep water back to the equator could break down because of global warming.

According to the theory, rising air temperatures cause ice caps to melt, making the water less salty and therefore less dense so it can’t sink and flow back south.

First flesh on theory’s bones

The scientists said this was the first time that observations had put flesh on the bones of the theory.

“This is the first time we have observed a change in the current on a human time scale,” oceanographer Harry Bryden said, noting that the current had completely shut down during the ice ages.

But he said the latest figures were far from proving a trend and that constant and long-term monitoring was needed.

“It is like a radiator heating the atmosphere and is too important to leave to periodic observations,” Bryden told a news conference to flesh out a paper he co-authored in the science journal Nature.

The Hadley Center for Climate Prediction and Research has calculated that if the current stopped, temperatures in northern Europe could drop by up to 6 degrees centigrade in 20 years.

The latest figures, collated last year, are from a string of monitoring devices at various depths in the Atlantic from Morocco to Miami.

It was the fifth snapshot since 1957 taken in the same area of the temperatures and currents in shallow, mid and deep ocean.

Major shift in the flow

While measurements in 1981 and 1992 had shown little change, those in 1998 and 2004 had shown a major shift, with less of the warming Gulf Stream getting up to Greenland and less of the cold, deep returning current coming back.

The so-called Atlantic Meridional Overturning Current is known as the Atlantic Conveyor, of which the Gulf Stream is the surface component.

“This is tantalizing evidence that there may be a large change in ocean circulation under way that paradoxically could cause regional cooling,” said Phil Newton of Britain’s independent Natural Environment Research Council (NERC).

However, the scientists stressed that they could not be completely sure what was driving the change or how it might alter or be compensated for by winds that pick up the radiated heat and circulate it.
