[Kimmel] wanted to know whether Obama had tried to get to the bottom of the "UFO files" about the mysterious desert region known as Area 51. "The aliens won’t let it happen," Obama joked. "You’d reveal all their secrets. They exercise strict control over us." But President Clinton once said he’d checked on the matter and found nothing, Kimmel protested. "That’s what we’re instructed to say," Obama responded.
Obama’s comments come only one month after Podesta claimed that his biggest failure for 2014 was: "Once again not securing the #disclosure of the UFO files."
Podesta apparently received an informal briefing by UFO disclosure advocate Dr Steven Greer in Jan 2009 on alternative energy sources used by visiting extraterrestrial visitors. If true, it appears that when Podesta was appointed to be Obama’s senior adviser on energy policy in 2014, he attempted to pry loose classified information on the energy and propulsion systems of UFO craft.
Podesta’s frank admission of failure was interpreted as evidence that there exist powerful government and/or corporate forces enforcing UFO secrecy. Obama’s comments raises another possibility. Space aliens themselves, at least some of them, play a key role in maintaining UFO secrecy.
The possibility that space aliens may be on Earth and are influencing the public policy of major nations such as the USA is not so strange given what other major world leaders have had to say on the topic.
For example, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Dec 7, 2012 that Russian Presidents are secretly briefed on extraterrestrials living among us and a top secret agency set up to monitor alien activities. Medvedev’s statement strongly implied that space aliens living among us exercise some kind of influence over human affairs.
According to Paul Hellyer, a former Canadian Defense Minister, the U.S. has reached agreements with extraterrestrials that secretly live on U.S. military facilities at Nellis Air Force Base. Hellyer claims to have confirmed his UFO alien information with senior military officials in the U.S. Air Force. Hellyer’s claims were cited in a story by the Fars News Agency that the U.S. is controlled by Tall White aliens. The story was covered by the Washington Post and other major media.
Obama’s strange alien control claim may have been done partly in jest on a late night comedy show. Yet that does not dismiss the possibility that underneath his dry humor was a disturbing truth. U.S. Presidents are powerless to tell the truth about UFOs and alien life – unless they do so in a way that maintains plausible deniability, like appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

John Podesta’s candid admission on Feb 13, his last day as Counselor to President Obama, that his biggest failure was to secure disclosure of UFO files raises many questions. The dominant response by the mainstream media has been to ignore questions of who, what, why a senior White House advisor was denied access to UFO files, and focus instead on Podesta’s long history of a fascination with the X-Files TV series. The Washington Post, UPI, The Hill, etc., have all made Podesta’s admission on Twitter a personal issue about his X-Files fascination, rather a serious policy issue concerning information denied to the White House.
For those that missed it, here's what Podesta said on Friday:
“my biggest failure of 2014: Once again not
securing the #disclosure of the UFO files.”
The Washington Post's Al Kamen wrote in response:
“Podesta was a major fan of the “X-Files” television show. Our colleague Karen Tumulty asked him in 2007 about the FOIA jam at the library, and Podesta, through a spokesman, replied: “The truth is out there.” That’s the show’s tag line.”
Amy Connolly of UPI writes: "In a nod to the long-running television show The X-Files, Podesta, who has had a longtime fascination with all things extraterrestrial, tweeted using hashtag #thetruthisstilloutthere."
The Hill's Julian Hattem writes:
“John Podesta’s biggest regret on leaving the White House is not proving Fox Mulder right... The humorous tweet about his time in office came in a list of his top 10 moments over the last year,”
Here are just a few who, what, why questions the above writers didn't bother asking.
Podesta’s admission came on his White House Twitter feed while he was discussing initiatives related to his official responsibility of overseeing climate change and energy policy for the White House. Did Podesta attempt to gain access to classified UFO files possessed by one or more government entities due to its relevance to his official duties?
His admission suggests that UFO information has relevance to climate change and/or energy policy. If so, does that mean that UFOs are indeed interplanetary spacecraft that use energy sources far more advanced than anything offered by the fossil fuel industry?
If UFO information has relevance to energy policy, then why wasn’t Podesta able to gain access despite having all the power of the White House behind him? What government entity can deny access to information requested by a senior advisor to a sitting President in the performance of his official duties?
Thankfully, there are some in mainstream media willing to explore such questions. CNET writer Chris Matyszczyk asks:
Is it possible that both the president and Podesta know more than they (are allowed to) let on? If your answer is yes, that leaves us to speculate on why they're not revealing it. Is it because we'd be frightened? Or is it because our belief systems would become so displaced that what remains of our social cohesion would dissolve?
These are just a few of the more obvious who, what, why questions raised by Podesta’s admission. Unfortunately, much of the mainstream media isn’t asking them because it is treating his admission as wry X-Files humor. We are basically being told that the Twitter revelation of a senior White House advisor is not something to take seriously.
Podesta’s involvement in a number of earlier attempts to learn the truth about classified UFO files points to a different conclusion. He was very serious. As a counselor to President Obama, with all the power that position conveys, he was still unable to pierce the veil of secrecy surrounding classified UFO files.
Podesta’s earlier involvement in a failed attempt by the Clinton administration to gain access to classified UFO files is well documented. FOIA documents gained by Canadian UFO researcher Grant Cameron detail a timeline involving President Clinton and Hillary Clinton seeking information from deceased billionaire Laurence Rockefeller on the topic. Strategies were developed for how the Clinton White House could gain access.
Podesta was involved in one of these strategies. The passage of Executive Order 12958 aimed at streamlining declassification of thousands of national security files, and involving the White House in the process. The goal was to shake loose some of the classified files hidden away in the national security archives of various U.S. government entities and corporate contractors and see if any could cast light on the UFO phenomenon. Podesta became Chief of Staff to Clinton, yet despite all the power available to him then, and to the President himself, access to UFO files was denied.
If a sitting President and his most senior advisors can’t access UFO related information relevant to policies being developed, then who is the real power behind the throne? Surely that’s a question worth a serious investigation by the Fourth Estate.

John Podesta's public admission that his biggest regret in leaving the Obama White House was his failure to have UFO files disclosed continues to fuel a media firestorm. Much of the media interest has failed, however, to raise questions beyond Podesta's X-Files fascination, as exemplified in initial reports, and repeated on Feb 17 in coverage by Fox News and The Independent. A key question being ignored is how did Podesta know such files existed, and had anyone briefed him about them?
It has now been learned that one of Podesta's unofficial sources for the existence of such files is Disclosure Project advocate Dr Steven Greer. Greer announced on Feb 14 that he had unofficially “briefed” Podesta about an extraterrestrial cover-up in early 2009, soon after President Obama took office. Podesta at the time was in the process of completing his work as co-chair of Obama’s Presidential transition team. Greer’s briefing documents were to be passed on to President Obama himself, and to his then-CIA Director Leon Panetta.
Greer explained the background to his unofficial briefing:
“An attorney working with Mr. Podesta requested the briefing and we assembled an extensive file for Mr. Podesta to provide to the newly- elected President Obama. There was also support for this process from a senior CIA official who is friendly to Disclosure and the briefing was also provided to then-CIA Director Leon Panetta.”
The cover letter to the extensive briefing documents provided to Podesta is six pages long and is titled “Special Presidential Briefing for President Barack Obama.” Dated Jan 23, 2009, the cover letter was publicly released by Greer in Dec 2012. The cover letter contains references to some of the material provided to Podesta, including how Presidential administrations have been systemically denied access to information concerning extraterrestrial life and technology on the grounds of “misguided secrecy”. Greer wrote:
“Because of this misguided secrecy, the wondrous new sciences related to advanced energy generation, propulsion and transportation have been withheld from the people. These advances include the generation of limitless clean energy from the so-called zero point energy field and quantum vacuum flux field from the space around us, and propulsion that has been termed (incorrectly) anti-gravity. The field of electromagnetic energy that is teeming all around us and which is embedded within the fabric of space/time can easily run all of the energy needs of the Earth – without pollution, oil, gas, coal, centralized utilities or nuclear power.”
It’s significant that when Podesta was appointed Counselor to President Obama, his duties as described on the White House website “include overseeing climate change and energy policy.” This firmly suggests that the UFO files that Podesta requested involved some of the classified information on free energy technologies that were described in Greer’s briefing.
It’s important to emphasize that Podesta almost certainly had Obama’s support in accessing UFO files that could revolutionize the energy industry, and end U.S. dependence on fossil fuels and nuclear energy. Podesta’s Feb 13 twitter message signaled his frustration at being unable to access such classified files which he clearly believed existed. Podesta was undoubtedly taking one final swing at secretly appointed national security officials that had denied him and the President access out of “misguided secrecy.” Thankfully Greer’s disclosure of his secret briefing of Podesta in 2009 and the cover letter that accompanied the briefing documents is now a matter of the public record.
