Master or Disaster: The Art of Living between Mind and No-mind

Master or Disaster:
The Art of Living between Mind and No-mind

by Gary Z McGee

“A genuine spiritual path does not avoid difficulties or mistakes but leads us to the art of making mistakes wakefully, bringing them to the transformative power of our heart.”
–Jack Kornfield

no mindYour ego is an instrument, a tool, the primitive leveraging mechanism of the self. Some would even say it is the self. It is there to balance (master) or dissociate (disaster) our unique energy with the primordial energy of the cosmos. It is forever in the throes of connection and disconnection, of attachment and detachment, torn between finitude and infinity. When the ego is being used to dissociate, its energy is codependent and it is torn between bemoaning the past and being anxious about the future. There is a woe-is-me attitude and self-pity is rampant. As a result unhealthy psychosis ensues.

However, when the ego is being used to balance itself, its energy becomes interdependent, and it is liberated from the past and free to create the future. As a result a healthy enlightenment process ensues. There is an out-of-mind experience. Indeed, an above-mind experience of healthy detachment called No-mind.

"There's an absolute connection between the toxicity of the world and our state of consciousness." - David Avocado Wolfe

“There’s an absolute connection between the toxicity of the world and our state of consciousness.”
– David Avocado Wolfe

Our modern day egos typically lean more towards dissociation, since the majority of us were raised in dysfunctional and dissociative cultures, and most of us are not even aware to what degree. Because of this, we are plagued with a plethora of psychological problems that grossly effect our ontological perceptions. In short: we are walking disasters.

To be human today is to be party to a perplexing existential illusion –that human individuals are independent agents– which exacts a heavy emotional and psychological toll on us. It is the source of all anxiety, envy, jealousy, anger and the violence that inevitably ensues.

Modern Man is a troubled species indeed, he can only state what he is not; and what he positively is, remains obscure and shrouded in doubt. We have become dissociated from finite nature and infinite cosmos: our true self. And we are in need of healing. But as Lao Tzu cryptically opined, “New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.” The ending of our rampant dissociation is a taming of our ego and a letting go of our attachment to the mind.

Here’s the thing: everything is connected. We all know this. Our boundaries are fluid and blurred. They aren’t even boundaries at all, just the illusion of a boundary. We are all profoundly linked in ways we can hardly fathom. Like Alan Watts said, “’To be or not to be’ is not the question — because you can’t have one without the other! Not-being implies being; just as being implies not-being. The existentialist in the West — who still trembles at the choice between being and not-being and therefore says that anxiety is ontological — hasn’t grasped this point yet. When the existentialist who trembles with anxiety before this choice realizes suddenly one day that not-being implies being, the trembling of anxiety turns into the shaking of laughter.” (See The Cosmic Joke).
3rd-eyeA master with high humor is needed to resolve the disaster of the self. This master lies dormant inside us all. It can only be found by having the out-of-mind experience of no-mind. There, in the stillness, the master is meditating. The master is connected to the source of all things, her thousand-petalled lotus spinning like a galaxy above her head. He/she is radiating inside of you, bursting with wisdom and nth-degree-questions. She pirouettes like Shakti. He foxtrots like Shiva. He/she is the all-dancing, all-laughing oracle of the primordial self. And it can only be found there in the silence, between inhale and exhale, between being and non-being, between mind and no-mind. There, above thought, is the source of human creativity: the place where artists, poets, musicians, and even scientists have discovered the secrets of the universe.

Like Leonard Cohen said, “You lose your grip, and then you slip into the masterpiece.” What is truly needed to become a master of oneself in this life is the ability to disincarnate and incarnate at will, to dissolve the ego and also use the ego as a tool toward higher thought. Disincarnating is dissolving the ego and quieting the mind. Incarnating is leveraging the ego as a force of nature, using it as a tool for further exploration. In between is where the magic is, where Shakti and Shiva dance eternally.

The human condition is like a snakeskin that we must constantly shed in order to embrace the new. Looking at it this way helps us to stretch it, to open it a little wider; a kind of evolutionary self-permeability that makes us more spiritually flexible. The way we do this is first realizing that we are not our mind or our ego. We are our Consciousness. We are the unique-as-our-own-fingerprint wave of consciousness curling out of the cosmic ocean. Our ego, our mind, is just as much a tool of our consciousness as our body is. In short: we have to be able to lose our mind and then retrieve it – and we have to do this over and over again, like breathing in and out: inhale – mind; exhale – retrieve mind.

photo Like Eckhart Tolle said, “Thinking and consciousness are not synonymous. Thinking is only a small aspect of consciousness. Thought cannot exist without consciousness, but consciousness does not need thought.” photo Beginner-mind begets learned-mind begets master-complex which must be subsumed by beginner-mind in order to achieve self-actualized-mind, thereby renewing the cycle. Being a master is learning how to unlearn. Being a disaster is not questioning what you’ve learned and believing in it blindly.

And it’s okay if so far you’ve been a disaster. The first step is accepting it, so that you can begin to liberate yourself from the clutches of fear that have held you back. It is your responsibility, and yours alone, to synchronize with your inner cyclic entropies so that you can achieve a place, an inner Locus of Control, where your super-serendipitous creativity is free to erupt into the world.

Like Firmin DeBrabander said, “The passions, Spinoza argued, derive from seeing people as autonomous individuals responsible for all the objectionable actions that issue from them. Understanding the interrelated nature of everyone and everything is the key to diminishing the passions and the havoc they wreak.” Indeed, for the same reason that you put an oxygen mask on yourself before a child, you discover a Locus of control before attempting to control the locusts.

Thinking with ego less, and being conscious more, is the key to becoming a master. It’s not easy, by any means. It takes persistent discipline and constant practice. It takes existential vigilance and loving compassion toward the disastrous many. Remaining a disaster is easy. It just requires you to never question anything, especially not yourself; and to simply remain safe and secure in your tiny comfort zone babying your tiny spoiled ego.

There’s a tug-of-war going on inside each and every one of us. It’s between mind and no-mind, attachment and detachment, love and fear, responsibility and complacency, truth and deception, healthy and unhealthy. The list goes on and on. It’s been the same inner battle since the dawn of Man, and it’s fought best in the no-mind state of the detached master.

Like e. e. cummings said, “To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you everybody else, means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight; and never stop fighting.”

TimeSpace

TimeSpace

Our perception of time is an illusion. Time can be visualised as a stream flowing at right angles between space and matter, potential and substance; the fourth dimension in 3-space.

We are primates living on a rotating ball which revolves around the Sun; hence we believe there is a yesterday, today and tomorrow. The slow stroboscope of 'day' and 'night' helps us to believe there is a past, present and future.

If we were living outside this gravity well (planet Earth) in the field of sunlight which surrounds it, our perception of time would be very different

Emit Time

Time is part of a fluid crystal through which we swim. 'Spacetime' is the medium through which we manifest life; yet (in English at least) we have stapled two words together to describe it. This indicates we have no current understanding of what it is.

We must know a thing to name it. To understand 'timespace' we must consider time as a fourth dimension.

As we've known for a century, time is relative to motion. It is also relative to mass.

As we rise out of the gravity well of a planetary mass, subjective time moves at a different rate. The further from the mass of Mater Earth, the less dense the timespace field is. It helps to visualise spacetime as a latticework constructed of energy in the form of tetrahedrons - 'ionised gas' (a tetrahedron is a regular four-sided solid pyramid - the most basic internally symmetrical solid - other than a sphere). See Illustration 5 (below).

LatMed by you.

The interlacing of this lattice with other potentials is relatively complex around aggregates of material substance - 'atoms' - and it becomes more simple as it approaches a vacuum state. Within masses like planets (high level energy densities) the lattices are highly interlaced and complex; formed of 'virtual' particles winking in and out of timespaces, they are transformed into higher geometric forms - regular 'Platonic' symmetrical crystalline shapes formed by the rotation of tetrahedra through 'hyperspace' (potential). Of course, no actual lattice exists - it is really intersecting waveforms or fields.

Matter is continually accreting into our continuum out of 'higher dimensions'; as the quantum field (hyperspace, or the aggregate of possible universes - timespaces) interlaces in potential timestreams. 'Soft electrons' and other particles eternally appear and disappear with each moment. Particles are squeezed through on nodal or connecting points on the lattice, to manifest in our timespace continuum - our fluid crystal lattice hologram, comprised of numerous intersecting reference fields.
They are artifacts of three intersecting in-phase fields - three dimensions - arising from 'hyperspace'.

DETAIL - Constructing Reality

EarthStar

These accretion points are much more tightly interwoven
in masses of 'matter' than in (relative) space, so mass attracts more mass and the accretion rate of particles is higher within matter than in space because of the increased level of overlap of adjacent hyperspace fields (timestreams) - and the product of the interlacing of each adjacent quantum of energy/mass in the globe of the Earth. This has major implications for the evolution of stellar and planetary masses (see Global Expansion Tectonics)!

A tetrahedron constrains four primary vectors - like spacetime's 4D structure; In 'space' (potential) the lattice is simple; these virtual tetrahedrons are less interlaced with local structures. Beyond the charged 'solar bubble' - the solar field in which the planets exist - in 'vacuum' (zero-point potential), 'objective' time attenuates markedly, relative to Earth.

All around us and here on the surface of the Earth a timestream flows at right angles between substance and potential - 4-space entering 3-space at all points. Its relative 'rate of passage' is faster the closer one approaches the centre of a gravitic field. Objects only appear to accelerate as they enter the relatively more dense field that make up a gravity well. From the perspective of Time they experience no subjective change as they 'fall' - they feel no accelerating force. They are entering a progressively denser time field, which is why they appear to accelerate under 'gravitic attraction' or 'force' to an 'outside' observer subject to another field density - ie an observer on the planet's surface.

There is no gravitic field - only a progressively denser and more complexly arranged TimeSpace - three-space - mass - in time (Gravitic attraction results from the spiralling curvature encountered by interacting 'particles' as they approach each other - a vortexial effect. 'Local gravity' can be affected by em field modulation - see
Pawlicki). From a falling object's perspective no accelerative force is apparent - there is no 'force' pushing or pulling it. See Magic Net and Infinity  .

An object experiences no
subjective acceleration as it enters a gravity well. Its subjective time remains the same although its velocity appears to be increasing.

It is entering a progressively denser timespace.
Time behaves differently near a singularity.

Time flows relative to mass, acceleration, relative motion and direction of spin. Time moves at differing rates depending on the energy density through which it flows. -
See Deyo

The modulation of rotating tuned fields in a precise geometric layout can alter timespace flow.

Time is a fourth-dimensional wedge driven through 3-space from the quantum field.

Gravity is a dimension, not a force (see
Infinity & Beyond). Gravity, being an intrusion from a 'higher' or 'deeper' dimensional matrix, provides communication between all parts of our continuum at a much higher velocity than lightspeed. The velocity of gravity is the square of local lightspeed...

The Flower of Life: Sacred Geometry

The Flower of Life
Sacred Geometry

Post image for The Flower of Life The flower of life holds a secret through which one can discover the most important and sacred pattern in the universe. This is the source of all that exists; it’s called the Fruit of Life. It contains 13 informational systems. Each one explains another aspect of reality. Thus these systems are able to give us access to everything ranging from the human body to the galaxies.

In the first system, for example, it’s possible to create any molecular structure and any living cellular structure that exists in the universe. In short every living creature.

If you overlay a map (after getting the correct scale) with the complete flower of life, all sacred sites, standing stones etc, will sit at the centre of six points.

The Seed of Life

The “Seed of Life” is formed from seven circles being placed with sixfold symmetry, forming a pattern of circles and lenses, which acts as a basic component of the Flower of Life’s design.

The Seed of Life is a symbol depicting the seven days of creation in which the Judeo-Christian God created life; Genesis 2:2-3, Exodus 23:12, 31:16-17, Isaiah 56:6-8.

The first step in forming the Seed of Life (or Flower of Life) is to begin with a circle (as in a 2D model) or a sphere (as in a 3D model).
According to some religious beliefs, the first step in building the Seed of Life was the creation of the octahedron by a divine “creator” (or “God”).

The next step was to spin the shape on its axes. In this way, a sphere is formed (see diagram).

Creator consciousness is said to exist within the sphere and the only thing that physically exists is the membrane of the sphere itself.

This “first step” is not to be confused with the “first day”, the latter being in reference to the seven days of creation.

The first day is believed to be the creation of the Vesica Piscis, then the creation of the Tripod of Life on the second day, followed by one sphere added for each subsequent day until all seven spheres construct the Seed of Life on the sixth day of Creation. The seventh day is the day of rest, known as the “Sabbath” or “Shabbat.”

The Egg of Life

After the creation of the Seed of Life the same vortex’s motion was continued, creating the next structure known as the Egg of Life.

This structure forms the basis for music, as the distances between the spheres is identical to the distances between the tones and the half tones in music. It is also identical to the cellular structure of the third embryonic division (The first cell divides into two cells, then to four cells then to eight). Thus this same structure as it is further developed, creates the human body and all of the energy systems including the ones used to create the Merkaba. If we continue creating more and more spheres we will end up with the structure called the Flower of Life.

The Flower of Life

The Flower of Life is the modern name given to a geometrical figure composed of multiple evenly-spaced, overlapping circles. They are arranged to form a flower-like pattern with a sixfold symmetry.  The most common form of the “Flower of Life” is hexagonal pattern (where the center of each circle is on the circumference of six surrounding circles of the same diameter), made up of 19 complete circles and 36 partial circular arcs, enclosed by a large circle.

It is considered by some to be a symbol of sacred geometry, said to contain ancient, religious value depicting the fundamental forms of space and time. In this sense, it is a visual expression of the connections life weaves through all sentient beings, and it is believed to contain a type of Akashic Record of basic information of all living things.

The “Flower of Life” can be found in all major religions of the world. It contains the patterns of creation as they emerged from the “Great Void”. Everything is made from the Creator’s thought.

In the 13th century, a Cabalist group from France succeeded, through geometric interpretation, in dividing the entire Hebrew alphabet into an order using the Seed of Life. The resulting alphabet was remarkably similar to that of the Religious sage Rashi who wrote his commentaries on the Old Testament at that time in France.

The flower of life holds a secret symbols through which one can discover the most important and sacred pattern in the universe.

There are many spiritual beliefs associated with the Flower of Life; for example, depictions of the five Platonic Solids are found within the symbol of Metatron’s Cube, which may be derived from the Flower of Life pattern. These platonic solids are geometrical forms which are said to act as a template from which all life springs.

Fruit of Life

The “Fruit of Life” symbol is composed of 13 circles taken from the design of the Flower of Life.

The Fruit of Life is said to be the blueprint of the universe, containing the basis for the design of every atom, molecular structure, life form, and everything in existence. It contains the geometric basis for the delineation of Metatron’s Cube, which brings forth the platonic solids. If each circle’s centre is considered a “node”, and each node is connected to each other node with a single line, a total of seventy-eight lines are created, forming a type of cube (Metatron’s Cube).

Tree of Life

The symbol of the Tree of Life may be derived from the Flower of Life. The Tree of Life is a concept, a metaphor for common descent, and a motif in various world theologies and philosophies. This has historically been adopted by some Christians, Jews, Hermeticists, and pagans. Along with the Seed of Life, it is believed to be part of the geometry that parallels the cycle of the fruit tree. This relationship is implied when these two forms are superimposed onto each other.

The Tree of Life is most widely recognized as a concept within the Kabbalah, which is used to understand the nature of God and the manner in which he created the world ex nihilo. The Kabbalists developed this concept into a full model of reality, using the tree to depict a “map” of creation. The tree of life has been called the “cosmology” of the Kabbalah. Some believe the Tree of Life of the Kabbalah corresponds to the Tree of Life mentioned in Genesis 2:9.

The World Grid: The invisible made visible…

A portion of the world grid, which invisibly encircles the planet. The grid is based on ‘the complete flower of life’ and the hexagon/hexagram. The diameter of the first circle was calculated by drawing a line from Orkney to Stonehenge (coincidently the line happens to pass through Rosslyn chapel which is exactly in the middle, this could be the real ‘rose line’). All of Europe’s ancient sites (stone circles symbolizing the flower) can be found lying on one of these lines. The grid also links all of these ancient sites together. Many of the oldest sacred sites lie at the centre of six points.

The complete flower of life also contains the three dimensional metatron cube, which holds all the Platonic solids.

Not just the building blocks of life, but the building blocks of creation itself.
