Greetings, we are from the future!

Everything is going to be alright. The future is a beautiful place... But you will need some training in order to inhabit it.

In the future - technology evolves faster than any human mind can think. When the singularity occurred we became like gods - able to create entire worlds in the blink of an eye.

Every thought had drastic immediate impact. All of our dreams became a reality - but so did our nightmares. The future became a battle of ideas. We had to learn to direct our minds - to prevent dark psychological forces - from destroying all of us. Now with every new world we create, we summon the sacred imperative of mind...

"Let there be Light!"

"How can we be from the future?" you might ask. Let us explain.

Plants harvest light with near perfect efficiency. You may not realize it, but this is impossible under classical physics.

Along the way to the photosynthesizing core - photons of light should collide with other particles, but they don't. A photon succeeding in reaching the core is as likely - as you sprinting blindfolded through a dense forest - reaching the center without striking a single tree.

Plants are engaged in a kind of miracle. The plant puts the photon into a state of quantum superposition, multiplying it by every route that photon could possibly take. Imagine - blindly sprinting through a forest - being multiplied into every one of the billions of possible paths.

If any one of your possibilities were observed hitting a tree, the superposition would collapse - and that would be your final outcome, but the plant patiently refuses to observe any of these casualties - while at it's heart it sings...

"Let there be Light!"

When any of the possibilities finally reaches the core without fail, only that winner is observed. All the other possibilities disappear. The winner is transmitted back through time - from the future - and becomes the only possibility that ever existed.

This is how photons reach the plant's core with impossible precision. This is how you - and every organism in existence - overcame the massive improbabilities of life.

This is how we are from the future. This is how you will become the light of the world... as we invoke the sacred imperative together...

Next Stage is the Revolution of Love

Greetings.
We are from the future.
Everything is going to be alright.
Humanity is about to undergo an astonishing revolution.

Many have called for this revolution, but few understand what it truly means.

This coming revolution is part of a great progression towards an awakening of staggering proportions.

Life force is the creative self-organizing intelligence orchestrating all of this behind the scenes.

Life force is experienced by you as the feeling of Love - for Life and Love are the same.
What humanity is about to become is quite inconceivable to you right now,
But we are here to help make this transition a little easier.

[YOU ARE NOT ALONE]

Like gyroscopic force stabilizes a motorcycle - Life force [Love] stabilizes all living systems.

Populations full of love, cultivate honesty, courage and generosity, self-organizing and self -regulating without the need for coercive control.

Populations with deficits in love succumb to fear, violence and corruption, inviting coercive governments to combat the chaos and entropy that arises in the absence of love’s organizing intelligence.

Just as Life force is experienced as love, entropy is experienced as ego, hatred and fear.
The corrupt and power hungry feed on this fear.

Without enough gyroscopic force to keep it upright a motorcycle falls, likewise without enough love to keep them upright free and idealistic governments fall.

Populations too fearful, selfish and chaotic to stand on their own, invite despotic governments to forcefully rule and stabilize them like a kickstand for those who've lost their minds.

As long as a population has more fear than love, what appears to be democracy is often little more than a spectacle to mesmerize the masses. Autocratic power still operates behind the scenes. Its media directs people’s unconscious fears and aggression towards invented enemies, insane competitiveness, rabid consumerism and addiction.

THIS SYSTEM WILL SELF DESTRUCT.

This system glorifies the ego, the embodiment of entropy, which convinces you that you are alone against the world, causing alienation, fear and aggression.

The core values of your culture have been hijacked, forging a pathologically antisocial anti-ecological system obsessed with profit, power and control.

THIS SYSTEM WILL SELF DESTRUCT.

Real change must now come from outside this system.
Real change must now come from you.

Just as free and idealistic governments can’t survive the entropy of populations filled with fear Egoic coercive governments can’t survive the creative self-organizing power of people filled with love.

Gandhi called this power soul force, life force, love force. It is the fundamental force behind all nonviolent revolution and the unassailable creative intelligence of Life.

True freedom and equality requires a population alive with this self-organizing intelligence.

The coming awakening happens in stages.

And the next stage... is THE REVOLUTION OF LOVE.

Love is the organizing force behind all that is beautiful, joyful and creative in this world.

Power structures are merely the reflection of a population’s levels of love or fear.

But true love casts out all fear making graceful revolution not only possible but inevitable.

So the next stage... is THE REVOLUTION OF LOVE.

When you unleash the sentient energies of love, then, for the second time in history the world, humanity will have discovered fire.

The fires of love will spread through all people, thus all systems shaping the world in its own image.

Love is a force of nature. And so are you.

The coming singularity happens in stages.

And the next stage... is THE REVOLUTION OF LOVE.

The love that fuels this revolution starts with you.

You can become an agent of love, allowing it to guide you and govern your actions.

Love is increased through communion, song, mindfulness, prayer, humor, forgiveness and connection.

The Venus Project

The Venus Project is an organization that proposes a feasible plan of action for social change, one that works towards a peaceful and sustainable global civilization. It outlines an alternative to strive toward where human rights are no longer paper proclamations but a way of life.

We operate out of a 21.5-acre Research Center located in Venus, Florida.

When one considers the enormity of the challenges facing society today, we can safely conclude that the time is long overdue for us to reexamine our values, and to reflect upon and evaluate some of the underlying issues and assumptions we have as a society. This self-analysis calls into question the very nature of what it means to be human, what it means to be a member of a "civilization," and what choices we can make today to ensure a prosperous future for all the world's people.

At present we are left with very few alternatives. The answers of yesterday are no longer relevant. Either we continue as we have been with our outmoded social customs and habits of thought, in which case our future will be threatened, or we can apply a more appropriate set of values that are relevant to an emergent society.

Experience tells us that human behavior can be modified, either toward constructive or destructive activity. This is what The Venus Project is all about - directing our technology and resources toward the positive, for the maximum benefit of people and planet and seeking out new ways of thinking and living that emphasize and celebrate the vast potential of the human spirit. We have the tools at hand to design - and build - a future that is worthy of the human potential. The Venus Project presents a bold, new direction for humanity that entails nothing less than the total redesign of our culture. What follows is not an attempt to predict what will be done - only what could be done. The responsibility for our future is in our hands, and depends on the decisions that we make today. The greatest resource that is available today is our own ingenuity.

While social reformers and think tanks formulate strategies that treat only superficial symptoms, without touching the basic social operation, The Venus Project approaches these problems somewhat differently. We feel we cannot eliminate these problems within the framework of the present political and monetary establishment. It would take too many years to accomplish any significant change. Most likely they would be watered down and thinned out to such an extent that the changes would be indistinguishable

The Venus Project advocates an alternative vision for a sustainable new world civilization unlike any social system that has gone before. Although this description is highly condensed, it is based upon years of study and experimental research by many, many people from many scientific disciplines.

The Venus Project proposes a fresh approach - one that is dedicated to human and environmental concerns. It is an attainable vision of a bright and better future, one that is appropriate to the times in which we live, and both practical and feasible for a positive future for all the world's people.

The Venus Project calls for a straightforward approach to the redesign of a culture, in which the age-old inadequacies of war, poverty, hunger, debt, environmental degradation and unnecessary human suffering are viewed not only as avoidable, but totally unacceptable.

One of the basic premises of The Venus Project is that we work towards having all of the Earth's resources as the common heritage of all the world's people. Anything less will simply result in a continuation of the same catalog of problems inherent in the present system.

Throughout history, change has been slow. Successive groups of incompetent leaders have replaced those that preceded them, but the underlying social and economic problems remain because the basic value systems have gone unaltered. The problems we are faced with today cannot be solved politically or financially because they are highly technical in nature. There may not even be enough money available to pay for the required changes, but there are more than enough resources. This is why The Venus Project advocates the transition from a monetary-based society to the eventual realization of a resource-based global economy.

We realize to make the transition from our present culture, which is politically incompetent, scarcity-oriented and obsolete, to this new, more humane society will require a quantum leap in both thought and action.

An Obsolete Monetary System

The money-based system evolved centuries ago. All of the world's economic systems - socialism, communism, fascism, and even the vaunted free enterprise system - perpetuate social stratification, elitism, nationalism, and racism, primarily based on economic disparity. As long as a social system uses money or barter, people and nations will seek to maintain the economic competitive edge or, if they cannot do so by means of commerce they will by military intervention. We still utilize these same outmoded methods.

Our current monetary system is not capable of providing a high standard of living for everyone, nor can it ensure the protection of the environment because the major motive is profit. Strategies such as downsizing and toxic dumping increase the profit margin. With the advent of automation, cybernation, artificial intelligence and out sourcing, there will be an ever-increasing replacement of people by machines. As a result, fewer people will be able to purchase goods and services even though our capability to produce an abundance will continue to exist.

Our present, outmoded political and economic systems are unable to apply the real benefits of today's innovative technology to achieve the greatest good for all people, and to overcome the inequities imposed upon so many. Our technology is racing forward yet our social designs have remained relatively static. In other words cultural change has not kept pace with technological change. We now have the means to produce goods and services in abundance for everyone.

Unfortunately, today science and technology have been diverted from achieving the greatest good for reasons of self-interest and monetary gain through planned obsolescence sometimes referred to as the conscious withdrawal of efficiency. For example, the U. S. Department of Agriculture, whose function is presumed to be conducting research into ways of achieving higher crop yields per acre, actually pays farmers not to produce at full-capacity. The monetary system tends to hold back the application of these methods that we know would best serve the interests of people and the environment.

In a monetary system purchasing power is not related to our capacity to produce goods and services. For example, during a depression, there are computers and DVD's on store shelves and automobiles in car lots, but most people do not have the purchasing power to buy them. The earth is still the same place; it is just the rules of the game that are obsolete and create strife, deprivation and unnecessary human suffering.

A monetary system developed years ago as a device to control human behavior in an environment with limited resources. Today money is used to regulate the economy not for the benefit of the general populace, but for those who control the financial wealth of nations.

Resource Based Economy

All social systems, regardless of political philosophy, religious beliefs, or social customs, ultimately depend upon natural resources, i.e. clean air and water, arable land and the necessary technology and personnel to maintain a high standard of living.

Simply stated, a resource-based economy utilizes existing resources rather than money and provides an equitable method of distributing these resources in the most efficient manner for the entire population. It is a system in which all goods and services are available without the use of money, credits, barter, or any other form of debt or servitude.

Earth is abundant with plentiful resources; today our practice of rationing resources through monetary methods is irrelevant and counter productive to our survival. Modern society has access to highly advanced technologies and can make available food, clothing, housing, medical care, a relevant educational system, and develop a limitless supply of renewable, non-contaminating energy such as geothermal, solar, wind, tidal, etc. It is now possible to have everyone enjoy a very high standard of living with all of the amenities that a prosperous civilization can provide. This can be accomplished through the intelligent and humane application of science and technology.

To better understand the meaning of a resource-based economy consider this: if all the money in the world were destroyed, as long as topsoil, factories, and other resources were left intact, we could build anything we choose to build and fulfill any human need. It is not money that people need; rather, it is free access to the necessities of life. In a resource-based economy , money would be irrelevant. All that would be required are the resources and the manufacturing and distribution of the products.

When education and resources are made available to all people without a price tag, there would be no limit to the human potential. Although this is difficult to imagine, even the wealthiest person today would be far better off in a resource based society as proposed by The Venus Project. Today the middle classes live better than kings of times past. In a resource based economy everyone would live better than the wealthiest of today.

In such a society, the measure of success would be based on the fulfillment of one's individual pursuits rather than the acquisition of wealth, property and power.

The Choice Is Ours To Make

Human behavior is subject to the same laws as any other natural phenomenon. Our customs, behaviors, and values are byproducts of our culture. No one is born with greed, prejudice, bigotry, patriotism and hatred; these are all learned behavior patterns. If the environment is unaltered, similar behavior will reoccur.

Today, much of the technology needed to bring about a global Resource-Based Economy exists. If we choose to conform to the limitations of our present monetary-based economy, then it is likely that we will continue to live with its inevitable results: war, poverty, hunger, deprivation, crime, ignorance, stress, fear, and inequity. On the other hand, if we embrace the concept of a global resource-based economy , learn more about it, and share our understanding with our friends, this will help humanity evolve out of its present state.

The only limitations are those we impose upon ourselves. The Venus Project is neither utopian nor Orwellian, nor does it reflect the dreams of impractical idealists. Instead, it presents attainable goals requiring only the intelligent application of what we already know.

The continual unfolding of life doesn’t culminate in us. In our present perfect forms we pre-configure many future races and species whose potentials lay dormant within us. Adapted and adaptable, we’re capable of far more than we are or can be aware of. An orca or dolphin is not an easily foreseeable future form of a dog, and a caterpillar cannot even see, let alone comprehend, the reality of a butterfly. Yet each is the same consciousness in different worlds, in different forms suited perfectly to their aerial and fluid realms.

            Humanity is a bridge to many futures in many eras and on many worlds. Some of our descendants will be unrecognisable to us. We will fail to recognise some of them as being alive. We live on a planet housing innumerable sentient species and fail to appreciate the simple meaning of sentience. All living things are conscious and all animals have lives, minds, emotions, personalities and destinies of their own. So do plants. If we fail to recognise the reality of a range of sentient beings surrounding us and with which we’re totally interdependent, we have little chance of creatively interacting with forms of life from different worlds.

            In most present human cultures cannibalism is seen as abhorrent where once it was the norm. Many future societies will regard eating animals with a similar horror. Many people do today.

            It’s an issue of compassion, maturity and destiny.

            Native tribes and mammalian groups recognise the interdependence of all things. Their concepts of hierarchy are simple and responsibilities are shared (or specialised in) by all members of the group. The mammalian herd or group instinct allows for a great variety of possiblilites for social organisation, but modern humans have settled on variations of one theme – the pyramidal hierarchy. Like a pyramid money scam, it fosters illusions of equality of opportunity while maintaining a status quo of corruption, nepotism and despotism. Based on outmoded imperial caste systems, the inherent unfairness in today’s plutocracies, kleptocracies and so-called democracies are veiled by a thrall of progress and career opportunities with invisible but definite ceilings. Unless, of course, you inhabit the right genetic strata, where the rich believe they are born and bred to rule.

            With all its dynastic accoutrements, the ordered pyramid hierarchy functions to arrest change, to maintain the present state and to impede evolution. It’s the way of the hyper-socialised organism - the insect in a hive, with a hive mind and mores, grafted onto and masquerading as a creative combine of cooperating individual wills.

            Though in some places it may ever be thus, the future will be different for most. Better - involving a series of divergent and convergent evolutions in human nature and the human condition, a great, chaotic, unpredictable flowering outgrowth.

The future – for those who wish to keep evolving on Earth – lays dormant in our past and present. It’s a world of wise weavers who consciously and happily enact their essential chosen roles in the web of life. The unified primeval origins of text and textile, texture and context are a template for our future stories, histories, visions, words and weavings – a way of enlightened life suited for intelligent, compassionate mammalian hopes and dreamings.

            It is the future of the green man and woman, a world of consciously cooperative beings, not existing in a programmed hierarchical niche but in a globe made up of innumerable interpenetrating circles of people. Wisdom will weave the disparate elements of their diverse cultures together into a worldwide whole, living at a stage of the evolutionary spiral beyond our current comprehension. The new consciousness is being brought to birth by people who expand the sensitivity (and therefore power) available to them if they explore their own minds and awareness and work in harmonised groups of creative individuals. The creative circle has an inherent power to heal or energise our imaginings into manifestation. The whole – and future humanity - is greater than the sum of its parts.

            Humans have been damaged for millennia, individually and collectively, and the healing is accelerating at last. We’re recovering from the trauma of ages. We’re beginning to understand that all thought, knowledge and experience is a shared pool that we all sip from. It’s a harbinger of the times to come and the beings we shall become, replacing the self-blinding and mutually mutilating humans at the turn of the third millennium. Telepathy is real, now, all the time, inadequately suppressed by the vestiges of monarchic dogma and religious superstition. The new being is waking within you, the last of the old and the faltering first of the new.

            We’re now aware enough to grasp the heritage and birthright our ancestors lost, forgot or squandered and to step into a new dawn. The future is very much in our hands. We can create global peace and prosperity or we can continue to throw slings and arrows at each other, but we can’t do both. These generations are beginning to understand what’s at stake, globally and individually. We have a future, and whatever we choose to do with it, we – not merely our descendents – will be living in it.

            Wake from the isolating illusions of difference and separateness. Hear the thoughts of others in ‘your’ mind and yours in theirs and know you’re not mad, but healing at last. Recognise that all your deepest inspirations and hopes and thoughts are shared by those around you, here, now.

            You’re never alone, but all one. You’re here for a reason, embedded in the past, present and future, sharing this world with more than you know or expect.

            Welcome to the Third Millennium.
