Can we detect the existence of parallel worlds in the lab? Quantum physicist Vlatko Vedral checks out the suggestion that a new—and surprisingly simple—experiment could tell us if alternate universes exist, once and for all.

From Vlatko Vedral:

Parallel worlds are a staple of science fiction and fantasy, with characters weaving in and out of alternate universes and interacting with other versions of themselves. Back in our universe, some physicists, including FQXi’s own Max Tegmark, believe that parallel universes are simply a natural extension of quantum mechanics. In such a scenario, both Obama and McCain will win the upcoming election in different universes, and there’s even room for an ultra-liberal parallel version of Stephen Colbert to comment on it.

Hiros (www.buzzsugar.com)

But can we ever know for sure that such parallel universes exist? There’s no definitive evidence for or against parallel universes—and it’s often debated whether the idea could ever be tested. At the moment, whether you choose to accept their existence or not seems to be more a question of personal taste—how unnerving (or comforting) do you find the suggestion that there are an infinite number of universes, with other “yous” that made different choices?

So when I saw a paper by Frank Tipler at Tulane University in New Orleans suggesting that not only is there an experimental test that can tell us if parallel universes exist, it’s so easy that it could conceivably be carried out with equipment that you could find in many high-school or college physics labs, I wanted to know more.
Tipler is proposing an experiment that can differentiate between the standard “Copenhagen interpretation” of quantum mechanics and the less conventional Many World’s interpretation, first proposed by Hugh Everett just over fifty years ago, which gives rise to parallel universes. Both alternatives attempt to make sense of one of the paradoxes of quantum mechanics: Before observation, the properties of particles and atoms are undecided; instead, quantum objects are described by a “wavefunction” that simultaneously holds many mutually complementary properties.
In the 1920s, at a meeting of quantum bigwigs in Copenhagen, this weird property was explained away by postulating that when the wavefunction is measured (or observed), the wavefunction “collapses”—settling into one particular classical state. Before any measurement is made, you cannot predict with certainty the outcome you will get—just the probability of finding a particular result. That is the standard interpretation of quantum mechanics. But just how, when, or why this collapse should occur remains a mystery.

Everett took a different tack. He proposed a collapse-free quantum theory, by suggesting that quantum laws apply to everything, not just to atoms and particles on the smallest scales. According to this view, the entire universe could exist as a superposition of many worlds—or parallel universes. The upshot is that if you make a quantum measurement, every possible outcome of that experiment is realized—each one existing in a different parallel universe, with a different parallel-you reading a different result. (See the FQXi article, “Squishy Bedrock” (pdf).)
The whole thing is a bit reminiscent of the discussions of what the perfect form of a society ought to be in order to balance the discrepancy between the needs of individuals and the needs of the society itself. There are two extreme resolutions (just like Many Worlds and Copenhagen). One is to say that there are no individuals and only the society matters (socialism)—or in our case, that everything obeys quantum mechanics, even the entire universes. The other is to say that there is no society, but that we just have a bunch of individuals (this is capitalism and its definition comes from a quote by former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher: “There is no such thing as Society. There are individual men and women, and there are families."). Here, that attitude corresponds to the notion that quantum mechanics is more fragmented only applying in certain regimes to certain things on small scales.
The key to testing which extreme is correct, according to Tipler, is to look at the probabilistic outcomes of quantum experiments predicted by both the rival theories. As I mentioned, the experimenter can’t predict beforehand what the outcome of a quantum experiment will be before she makes her measurement, but she can work out the _probability_ of getting a particular outcome. That’s true in both cases. The probability of getting a particular outcome is determined by the so-called Born rule, which has been verified experimentally. But if both alternatives—Copenhagen and Many Worlds—predict probabilities according to the Born rule, how does that help us choose between them?
Tipler’s answer relies on the fact that you need to perform the experiment many times, to verify that you are getting the expected probabilistic outcome. That’s true in normal experiments too. Let’s say you wanted to check that the probability of rolling a die and getting a value of “four” is one out of six. You will need to perform more than one roll. Even six rolls won’t necessarily be enough. To build up the correct pattern of probabilities, you’ll have to roll the die many many times, and slowly you’ll see the expected results emerge—turning up each die value one sixth of the time on average after many throws.
Similarly, Tipler points out that you need to perform quantum experiments thousands of times to see the expected outcome predicted by the Born rule. So while both the Copenhagen interpretation and the Many World’s interpretation predict you’ll end up with results in line with the Born rule _eventually_, just how quickly you will get there is different for the different theories. So just look at how quickly your actual experimental results build up to form the quantum pattern you expect, and you can use this rate to discriminate between Many Worlds and Copenhagen.

(theobservereffect.files.wordpress.com)

How tough would this be to test in a lab? Tipler proposes looking at the “double slit experiment”. This is a relatively simple experiment using not much more than a lamp and a screen. A beam of light is split apart by two slits, producing a peculiar pattern of light on a screen, showing that light has both a wave and particle nature. It’s a standard experiment, typically carried out in advanced physics classes at school, or in universities, in basic classes in quantum mechanics. So, it would be very simple to carry out indeed.
It's an interesting idea. However, I have an issue with his approach. Tipler states that Copenhagen couldn’t give you the same result for obtaining the probabilities as Many Worlds. But this is not true. In fact, you just need to consider the screen as a quantum object and model the interaction between photons and the screen and then you can work out all the probabilities you need for any number of photons to hit any position at the screen. And this is a purely Copenhagen interpretation—we don’t need to think of the rest of the universe behaving in a quantum manner. Thus, Copenhagen can give you the same result as Many Worlds.
So sadly, I don’t think that this experiment will work. But my final thought is that I like attempts such as Tipler’s a lot. The motivation—which I very much sympathize with—for Everett’s original Many Worlds proposal and for Tipler’s paper is that in the standard formulation of quantum mechanics (Copenhagen) we have two very different processes: continuous evolution when the system is not measured and then an abrupt change due to the measurement. To have this difference between measurement and evolution is not nice and clean. There are now two ways of getting rid of the dichotomy. One is to say that there are no measurements (the Many World’s philosophy) and the other one is to say that there is no evolution (this would be the "ultra" Copenhagen view).
But maybe Tipler is wrong to be preoccupied with these two extremes. Much like the fact that every society lies between extreme socialism and extreme capitalism, it might just be that the correct view of quantum mechanics is somewhere between Many Worlds and Copenhagen...whatever this might be.

Your Computer Will Be Bugged

Your Computer Will Be Bugged
US Government and computer manufacturers caught installing hard-wired keystroke loggers into all new laptops!
The US government has admitted to spying on US citizens using the massive AT&T servers to log and record EVERY email that is sent in that country and listening to any phone calls that might interest them. Are you so gullible that you really think the industry that makes computers couldn’t be forced to build in these devices?

re sig The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

This Should be a Wake Up Call

Below this is the whole story from Current.com. The site where it originally existed is difficult to reach due to high traffic. I suspect the government is jamming their traffic since the story went up. Please share it and make sure to save a copy, as it’s bound to disappear as quickly as you are reading it.

145x105 http fearthegovernment.com keystroke logger thingy0240 The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

Since posting this article, there have been overwhelming attempts to disprove this threat to our privacy - to the extent that I had to rename the link to avoid so many hits. To me, any attempt so massively designed to turn a credible story into a so called hoax is pretty convincing evidence that someone out there doesn’t want the truth to be known…

The KeyLogger business is real; Look up KeyGhost on Google... Do not trust a government that blatantly admits to violating the laws that provide your right to privacy.

Devices capture everything you ever type, and can then send it via your ethernet card to the Dept. of Homeland Security without your knowledge, consent or a search warrant each time you log onto the internet!

I was opening up my almost brand new laptop, to replace a broken PCMCIA slot riser on the motherboard. As soon as I got the keyboard off, I noticed a small cable running from the keyboard connection underneath a piece of metal protecting the motherboard.

I figured “No Big Deal”, and continued with the dissasembly. But when I got the metal panels off, I saw a small white heatshink-wrapped package. Being ever-curious, I sliced the heatshrink open. I found a little circuit board inside.

keystroke logger thingy1320 The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

Being an EE by trade, this piqued my curiosity considerably. On one side of the board, one Atmel AT45D041A  four megabit Flash memory chip.

keystroke logger thingy3320 The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

On the other side, one Microchip Technology PIC16F876  Programmable Interrupt Controller, along with a little Fairchild Semiconductor CD4066BCM  quad bilateral switch.
Looking further, I saw that the other end of the cable was connected to the integrated ethernet board.

What could this mean? I called the manufacturer’s tech support about it, and they said, and I quote, “The intregrated service tag identifier is there for assisting customers in the event of lost or misplaced personal information.” He then hung up.

keystroke logger thingy2160 The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

A little more research, and I found that that board spliced in between the keyboard and the ethernet chip is little more than a Keyghost hardware keylogger .
The reasons a computer manufacturer would put this in their laptops can only be left up to your imagination. It would be very impractical to hand-analyze the logs, and very CPU-intensive to do so on a computer for every person that purchased a laptop. Why are these keyloggers here?

I recently almost found out.

I called the police, as having a keylogger unknown to me in my laptop is a serious offense. They told me to call the Department of Homeland Security. At this point, I am in disbelief. Why would the DHS have a keylogger in my laptop? It was surreal.

So I called them, and they told me to submit a Freedom of Information Act request. This is what I got back:

keystroke logger thingy foi letter The Keylogger IN Your Computer IS Telling All Your Business Read This,

Under the Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) the only items exempt from public disclosure are items relating to “law enforcement tools and techniques” and “items relating to national security.”

The real life implications of this are plain: Computer manufacturers appear to be cooperating with the Department of Homeland Security to make every person who buys a new computer subject to immediate, unrestricted government recording of everything they do on those computers! EVERYTHING !

This information can be sent to DHS, online, without your knowledge or consent, without a search warrant or even probable cause! That’s why this device is hard-wired directly into the ethernet card, which communicates over the internet!
I am not certain how long this information will be permitted to remain online for all the world to see before the government takes some type of action to attempt to have it removed from public view. I URGE you to take copy of this page immediately and spread this information to everyone you know immediately! The more people who find out about this, the more can protect themselves and raise a HUGE outcry to force government and computer manufacturers to immediately CEASE installing these devices in new computers!

Reck's Ancient Human Skeleton Mystery

Reck's Ancient Human Skeleton Mystery

Olduvai Gorge in the East African nation of Tanzania is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. It is especially renowned as the place where Louis Leakey discovered fossils of a variety of ape men, including Homo habilis. They are mentioned in most textbooks. But these textbooks are usually silent about the very first skeleton discovered at Olduvai Gorge, called the Reck’s skeleton that was found in Upper Bed II which dated from 1.15 million years old.

George Grant MacCurdy, a leading anthropologist from Yale University, considered Reck's skeleton to be genuine. According to today’s orthodox scientific opinion, humans like us did not come into existence until about 150,000 years ago.

In 1913, a German scientist, Hans Reck, came to Olduvai Gorge to search for fossils. One of Reck’s African collectors saw a bone protruding from the earth and started to excavate. Reck came and completed the excavation. Using hammers and chisels, workers under Reck’s direction took out an almost complete, anatomically modern, human skeleton in a solid block of hardened sedimentary rock. Reck identified a sequence of five beds at Olduvai Gorge. The skeleton was from the upper part of Bed II. At Reck's site, the overlying layers (Beds III, IV, and V) had been worn away by erosion.

The Northern Slope of Olduvai Gorge where Hans Reck found a fully human skeleton (X) in Upper Bed II

According to modern dating methods, Bed II is from 1.15 million to 1.7 million years old. Reck carefully studied the geology of the site, and concluded, “The bed in which the human remains were found . . . showed no signs of disturbance. The spot appeared exactly like any other in the horizon. There was no evidence of any refilled hole or grave”.

So this skeleton is evidence that anatomically modern humans were existing in the very distant past, over one million years ago. Reck returned to Germany, taking the skeleton’s skull with him personally, while the block of rock containing the rest of the skeleton followed by ship. When his first reports on the skeleton came out, he won the support of many scientists, including the American anthropologist George Grant MacCurdy of Yale University.

The skeleton bore the same relation to the stratified beds as did the other mammalian remains, and was dug out of the hard clay tufa with hammer and chisel just as these were. In other words, the conditions of the find were such as to exclude the possibility of an interment. The human bones are therefore as old as the deposit.” Mac Curdy also agreed that the skeleton was of modern type and not like an earlier form of human such as the Neanderthals.

Other scientists, including Louis Leakey, disagreed that the skeleton was as old as Bed II. To settle the question, Leakey and some others went to Olduvai Gorge to personally examine the site in 1931. Louis Leakey examined Reck's skeleton in Berlin, but he judged it more recent than Reck had claimed. In 1931, Leakey and Reck visited the site where the skeleton had been found. After careful study, Leakey concluded that Reck had been right. Reck and Leakey, along with A. T. Hopwood of the British Museum of Natural History, published a report in Nature (1931, vol. 128, p. 724) affirming that the skeleton was as old as the bed in which it had been found, Bed II. Other scientists continued to object to the great age of Reck’s skeleton.

Reck and Leakey held their ground, until in 1932 an English geologist named P. G. H. Boswell published in Nature (vol. 130, pp. 237-238) a report in which he claimed he had found reddish pebbles from Bed III and white calcrete fragments from Bed V in a sample of the matrix from which Reck’s skeleton had been extracted. The sample that Boswell studied had been sent to him from Munich. And there is no way of knowing if it came from the matrix that directly encased the skeleton or from some other sediments that had come in the crate along with the skeleton.

Nevertheless, both Reck and Leakey joined Boswell, Hopwood, and Solomon concluding in a report published in Nature (1933, vol. 131, pp. 397-398) that "it seems highly probable that the skeleton was intrusive into Bed II and that the date of the intrusion is not earlier than the great unconformity which separates Bed V from the lower series."

It remains somewhat of a mystery why both Reck and Leakey changed their minds about a Bed II date for Reck's skeleton. Perhaps Reck was simply tired of fighting an old battle against odds that seemed more and more overwhelming. With the discovery of Beijing man and additional specimens of Java man, the scientific community had become more uniformly committed to the idea that a transitional ape-man was the only proper inhabitant of the Middle Pleistocene. An anatomically modern Homo sapiens skeleton in Bed II of Olduvai Gorge did not make sense except as a fairly recent burial. This would still give the anatomically modern human skeleton an age of perhaps as much as 400,000 years, because the oldest part of Bed V is about that old. And 400,000 years is still far beyond the orthodox scientific estimates for the maximum age of anatomically modern humans. Unfortunately, during World War II, Reck’s skeleton, except for the skull, vanished from the Munich Museum.

Reck excavated the skeleton from Bed II in Olduvai Gorge. He carefully searched for signs of intrusive burial (especially materials from Bed III and higher levels) and found none. Louis Leakey and other scientists, who personally studied the skeleton in Germany and investigated the Olduvai Gorge site itself, confirmed Reck’s reports. So probably the sample examined by Boswell was not from the actual matrix of the skeleton. It was from other materials that came in the box with the skeleton from Africa. The most reasonable conclusion : “Reck’s skeleton is evidence for the existence of anatomically modern humans over one million years ago.”

Hmmmm ... what do you think this image shows? Source: The Daily Telegraph
THEY emerged from a blazing light in the clouds, descending on a busy Sydney street before zipping off silently into the sunset.

Just what - or who - propelled the strange flying discs across the sky may never be known.

But while the close encounter was over in seconds, it was enough to convince mother-of-two Fiona Hartigan that she'd just seen a UFO.

And she has the photos to prove it.

Ms Hartigan yesterday said she had just got out of her car on Sunday evening to snap a few sunset photos when the amazing events began.

"As I was about to take the picture this black object appeared and then it started to move," she said.

"It started off about 800m away but it came closer - to about 400m - and then two other little round things appeared from this bright orange light above.

"There was no noise. It was calm and peaceful but it was very weird."

Ms Hartigan said the main UFO then "shot off" above Governor Macquarie Drive at Chipping Norton, with the smaller UFOs zipping away in the opposite direction.

"I don't know how to explain it - I'm still totally bewildered," she said.
To the sceptic, Ms Hartigan's photo might show a speck of dust on the lens or something small floating in the air close to the camera.

But close encounters like Ms Hartigan's came as no surprise to UFO Research NSW spokesman Doug Moffett: "It could be some electrical anomaly that no one has ever seen, it could be an extra-terrestrial craft, it could be something else.

"There does appear to be a blur around the image, which could just be the way it's shaped, or - and this is pure speculation - it could be due to its propulsion system.

"Whatever the case, it's an opportunity to learn something new."
Mr Moffett said there were between 1000 and 1500 UFO sightings in Australia every year, "but that is just the tip of the iceberg".

"Why would anyone make these stories up? They are setting themselves up for ridicule," he said.

HEMP FOR FUEL: The End of Big Oil?

HEMP FOR FUEL

The End of Big Oil?

BIOMASS CONVERSION to fuel has proven economically feasible, first in laboratory tests and by continuous operation of pilot plants in field tests since 1973. When the energy crop is growing it takes in C02 from the air, so when it is burned the C02 is released, creating a balanced system.
Biomass is the term used to describe all biologically produced matter. World production of biomass is estimated at 146 billion metric tons a year, mostly wild plant growth. Some farm crops and trees can produce up to 20 metric tons per acre of biomass a year.
Types of algae and grasses may produce 50 metric tons per year. This biomass has a heating value of 5000-8000 BTU/lb, with virtually no ash or sulfur produced during combustion. About 6% of contiguous United States land area put into cultivation for biomass could supply all current demands for oil and gas.
The foundation upon which this will be achieved is the emerging concept of "energy farming," wherein farmers grow and harvest crops for biomass conversion to fuels.

 http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/May07/pyrolysis.jpg

PYROLYSIS IS THE TECHNIQUE of applying high heat to organic matter (ligno-cellulosic materials) in the absence of air or in reduced air. The process can produce charcoal, condensable organic liquids (pyrolytic fuel oil), non-condensable gasses, acetic acid, acetone, and methanol. The process can be adjusted to favor charcoal, pyrolytic oil, gas, or methanol production with a 95.5% fuel-to-feed efficiency.
Pyrolysis has been used since the dawn of civilization. Ancient Egyptians practiced wood distillation by collecting the tars and pyroligneous acid for use in their embalming industry.

Methanol-powered automobiles and reduced emissions from coal-fired power plants can be accomplished by biomass conversion to fuel utilizing pyrolysis technology, and at the same time save the American family farm while turning the American heartland into a prosperous source of clean energy production.
Pyrolysis has the advantage of using the same technology now used to process crude fossil fuel oil and coal. Coal and oil conversion is more efficient in terms of fuel-to-feed ratio, but biomass conversion by pyrolysis has many environmental and economic advantages over coal and oil.

Pyrolysis facilities will run three shifts a day. Some 68% of the energy of the raw biomass will be contained in the charcoal and fuel oils made at the facility. This charcoal has nearly the same heating value in BTU as coal, with virtually no sulfur.

Pyrolytic fuel oil has similar properties to no. 2 and no. 6 fuel oil. The charcoal can be transported economically by rail to all urban area power plants generating electricity. The fuel oil can be transported economically by trucking creating more jobs for Americans. When these plants use charcoal instead of coal, the problems of acid rain will begin to disappear.

When this energy system is on line producing a steady supply of fuel for electrical power plants, it will be more feasible to build the complex gasifying systems to produce methanol from the cubed biomass, or make synthetic gasoline from the methanol by the addition of the Mobil Co. process equipment to the gasifier.

 http://peswiki.com/images/9/95/Hemp-Field_combo_300.jpg

FARMERS MUST BE ALLOWED TO GROW an energy crop capable of producing 10 tons per acre in 90-120 days. This crop must be woody in nature and high in lignocellulose. It must be able to grow in all climactic zones in America.

And it should not compete with food crops for the most productive land, but be grown in rotation with food crops or on marginal land where food crop production isn't profitable.

When farmers can make a profit growing energy, it will not take long to get 6% of continental American land mass into cultivation of biomass fuel--enough to replace our economy's dependence on fossil fuels. We will no longer be increasing the C02 burden in the atmosphere. The threat of global greenhouse warming and adverse climactic change will diminish. To keep costs down, pyrolysis reactors need to be located within a 50 mile radius of the energy farms. This necessity will bring life back to our small towns by providing jobs locally.

 http://hempnewstv.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/hemp-bio-fuel.jpg

HEMP IS THE NUMBER ONE biomass producer on planet earth: 10 tons per acre in approximately four months. It is a woody plant containing 77% cellulose. Wood produces 60% cellulose. This energy crop can be harvested with equipment readily available. It can be "cubed" by modifying hay cubing equipment. This method condenses the bulk, reducing trucking costs from the field to the pyrolysis reactor. And the biomass cubes are ready for conversion with no further treatment.
Hemp is drought resistant, making it an ideal crop in the dry western regions of the country. Hemp is the only biomass resource capable of making America energy independent. And our government outlawed it in 1938.

Remember, in 10 years, by the year 2000, America will have exhausted 80% of her petroleum reserves. Will we then go to war with the Arabs for the privilege of driving our cars; will we stripmine our land for coal, and poison our air so we can drive our autos an extra 100 years; will we raze our forests for our energy needs?

During World War II, our supply of hemp was cut off by the Japanese. The federal government responded to the emergency by suspending marijuana prohibition. Patriotic American farmers were encouraged to apply for a license to cultivate hemp and responded enthusiastically. Hundreds of thousands of acres of hemp were grown.

The argument against hemp production does not hold up to scrutiny: hemp grown for biomass makes very poor grade marijuana. The 20 to 40 million Americans who smoke marijuana would loath to smoke hemp grown for biomass, so a farmer's hemp biomass crop is worthless as marijuana.

It is time the government once again respond to our economic emergency as they did in WWII to permit our farmers to grow American hemp so this mighty nation can once again become energy independent and smog free.

What Really Happened on 9/11?

What Really Happened on 9/11?

In case you were too distracted or too young to notice how the world changed and your liberties disappeared in a puff of smoke a decade ago…

Let's bring the REAL perps to justice!

Global Heating=Tectonic Catastrophe

Global Heating = Tectonic Catastrophe
 By Rhydemz

exploding-earth11

The real danger for our entire civilization comes not from slow climate changes, but from overheating of the planetary interior.

Galileo discovered that Earth moves. Copernicus discovered that Earth moves around the Sun. In 2000 Tom Chalko, inspired by Desmarquet’s report, discovered that the solid nucleus of our planet is in principle a nuclear reactor, and it is eccentric...

Polar ice caps melt not because the air there is warmer than 0 deg Celsius, but because they are overheated from underneath. Volcanoes become active and erupt violently not because the Earth’s interior “crystallizes”, but because the planetary nucleus is a nuclear fission reactor...

It seems that the currently adopted doctrine of a “crystalline inner core of Earth” is more dangerous for humanity than all weapons of mass destruction taken together, because it prevents us from imagining truly global disasters… In a systematically under-cooled spherical core reactor the cumulative cause-effect relationship is hyperbolic…

[Electromagnetic changes in the Sun’s heliosphere can also heat the Earth’s predominantly iron core with induction currents, producing identical effects to those described herein – Ed].

The last few years were the WARMEST ever recorded on Earth. The trend continues.

Huge parts of Antarctic and Arctic ice have already melted. Key Antarctic glaciers (Hektoria, Green and Evans for example) increased their melting rate 8 times in 3 years (between 2000 and 2003, Geophys. Res. Lett., 31, L18401). When glaciers begin to slide to the ocean, the sea level rise will cause not only tsunamis but a global planetary flood.

Volcanoes become active under Arctic Ocean and in Antarctica

In the past, volcanic activity was followed by decades of dormancy. Today, when volcanoes erupt they remain active and the neighbouring volcanoes erupt…

The largest volcanoes on Earth have lost their snow-caps
Oceans are warmer than ever. Their increased evaporation produces large amount of clouds, rain and widespread flooding.
Oceans around Antarctica at depths of 5 km are less salty and less dense, confirming that Antarctica is melting from underneath. The fresh water is lighter than salt water, so it should be on top…
In heated oceans all currents are severely disrupted.

Mountain glaciers melt around the globe. The weather around the globe becomes more violent every month.

Trees have begun to BLOOM in winter. Photos show Australian blackwood trees blooming in August (Mt Best, Victoria). This is equivalent to European and USA trees blooming in February. Many plants detect “season” by monitoring the soil temperature.

Energy of earthquakes systematically increases. The graph above depicts the annual quake energy since record begun in 1973, computed on the basis of USGS scientific data from all quakes above 4.0 magnitude since 1973. The data is compared (scaled) to 1973 quake energy. The energy of earthquakes 7.0 and above increased 6 times in the same period…

According to the current “scientific” dogmas, the planetary interior “crystallizes” and becomes less liquid as the time goes on. So, tectonic plate motion should become slower in time and quakes should become less frequent and less energetic. The evidence presented in the graph demonstrates exactly the opposite.

In the period of time when the planetary climate changed by a small fraction of one degree, earthquakes have become 5 times more energetic. I wonder why no one on Earth makes any notice of this?

NASA measurements confirm (Science 308, 1431-1435) that Earth absorbs more energy from the Sun that it is able to reflect to space – about 0.85 megawatts per square kilometer more. Pollution increases daily and solar activity is on the increase until 2012. Global increase in tectonic, volcanic and seismic activity seems certain. Have we reached the point of no return?

Some people claim that the observable earthquake energy rise is due to “improved equipment” and/or “increasing the number of seismic stations”. This claim cannot be true. Waves from large quakes travel around the globe and are detectable ANYWHERE. Since time of Cold War there have been enough seismic stations on Earth to pin-point location of a nuclear explosion (a quake 4.0) within a few km. [We’ve actually been able to triangulate the position and strength of any earthquake greater than magnitude 6 since 1896, and earthquake intensity since that time has risen exponentially to the point where it is almost off the scale – Ed].

Increasing number of seismic stations and better equipment can only be responsible for the increase in the number of “small” quakes being detected. The global energy of “small” earthquakes (below 7.0) increased only by 40% since 1973. In contrast, the global energy of quakes 7.0 and above increased 6 times in the same period. This is not any theory. It is an observable fact.

What causes an 8-fold increase in Antarctic glacier melting in just 3 years? Sun does not deliver 8 times the energy under the Antarctic ice, does it? Some scientists predict that effects of “global warming” will take many decades. Can they explain the increase of the melting rate of Antarctic glaciers 8 times in 3 years? Heating of the planetary interior can.

“Climate change” cannot explain why the deep Antarctic Ocean gets less salty and less dense. Overheating of the… heated planetary interior can…

The matter seems URGENT. Please forward this page (or the link to it) to any scientist or person of integrity whom you know... Avoid the mass media – it seems that they are controlled by those who run the economy and are interested in keeping humanity misinformed to the greatest extent possible.

To withhold, distort or otherwise interfere with the truth about the planetary core is a crime against humanity... Money cannot save the Planet. Only Understanding can. Focus on Understanding. It cannot be undone.
